Welcome! Our programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Keene Public Library, the Trustees of the Keene Public Library, & other community sponsors. Research shows that reading during the summer helps to maintain & improve students' reading abilities while out of school, & even better – it's fun! There are 4 programs to choose from. All of the programs start on June 20 & run through August 16. If you have questions or need assistance, call the library at 603-352-0157.

In this program, teens (ages 13 and up) will keep track of the time they read or listen to books & earn bonus points for attending library programs & completing games & tasks online & in the community. Any & all kinds of reading counts! These are are other programs:

Kids that aren't yet reading on their own can still participate - listening to an audiobook or read-along & being read to all count as reading!

This works much like the Teen program. Participants track time & have challenges.. Kids will need the permission of a parent or guardian to sign up for this program.

Keep track of the books you read. This program has 3 special challenges for participants.
