Superheros who haven't mastered reading alone can still power up this summer by being read to! By listening to stories this summer, whether read by a family member, friend, or in a story time, kids will grow super literacy powers! Parents/caregivers can register children ages 2 to 5, and track their time sharing stories. Listening time is rewarded with prizes though our East Fishkill Community Library's Mini-Hero Summer Reading Club!

Every six days of listening turns into a prize! We count a day as about 20 minutes, but knowing those bedtime stories, street signs, shopping lists, and everything else you read aloud easily total that! Rewards can be picked up anytime the library is open. Log from June 25 through August 31, and there are 11 possible prizes to be earned. The library will hold prizes until September 5th. We'll print a special certificate for the mini-hero to hang in their secret lair at summer's end.

For those who would rather track on paper, you can participate by picking up a Club calendar at the library beginning June 22nd.
